When unemployed young man Lin Mo clicks a “high-paying part-time job” pop-up, he is dragged into a deadly game that overlays reality. A nurse in red shoes hunts him through an abandoned hospital; a hundred ghosts carry a coffin through a village preparing for a wedding. And his teammates are a bunch of “legends”: a hotheaded veteran, a hacker who explains talismans with science, a delivery rider who treats vengeful spirits like customers, a medical student who can heal wounds but is terrified of blood, and a mysterious shop clerk who draws talismans at the cost of his own lifespan.
To stay alive and deliver “paranormal packages,” this eccentric crew dismantles mechs in a cyberpunk city, roasts insect legs on a hive-world, and treats mental illness in a shattered dream... until they discover that the so-called reward is actually a countdown to the world's destruction.
“The day the package is delivered is the day the world changes!”
