Synopsis

Um, this book borrows a little from There Are Beasts, but mostly just in its setting. It’s almost entirely original, though the characters’ personalities are pretty similar (๑•㉨•๑)ฅ I’ve been writing this novel for ages, but haven’t published it until now. I’ve got, well, at least 40 chapters saved up.

The human youth Shi Yi died and was reborn as a Pixiu cub named Jiujiu, carrying a fragment of the laws of the Primordial Desolation’s Daoist Master of Time. He was rescued by the auspicious qilin Sibuxiang. Bearing the forbidden power to manipulate time, Jiujiu struggles to survive between his instinct to attract wealth and fortune and his ability to stop and turn back time. As whispers from the Primordial Desolation eat away at his soul and the shadow of the Heavenly Court draws near, only Sibuxiang, using gentleness as a shield and his jade horn as an anchor, can pull him back into the sunlight time and again. The Pixiu and qilin clasp paws, forging an eternal bond beyond the cycle of reincarnation amid the cracks in time.

I’ll be updating quickly at first, and I’ve got plenty of chapters saved up, so there’s no need to worry. I have about 100,000 characters written after more than a semester of work. My plan is to post ten chapters a day for the first few days, gradually reducing the number. If the story does well, I’ll keep going.

Um, this novel is definitely sweet. Absolutely no angst.
