Captive God: The Lord of Siming Hall Knows He Was Wrong

**He is the sharpest blade on the grasslands. She is the deadliest poison beneath the moonlight.**

Qingyang Mingyuan was born to rule, his iron-fisted authority sweeping across the eight directions until all races submitted wherever he went. Chiyue Yiyue was a saintess chosen by fate, able to see through everything except her own heart. Born strong, the two should have stood side by side at the pinnacle of the world, but blood feuds between their tribes drove them to opposite sides of fate.

**When a blade pierced his chest, his hatred of betrayal and the slaughter of his people burned into godhood.**

He watched her live out her entire life, then imprisoned her for three hundred years. He severed her emotional bonds and sealed her memories, turning the proud Saintess of the Chiyue tribe into an emotionless puppet. Yet over the long years, he gradually discovered that beneath his boundless hatred lay an even more terrifying obsession: he still longed for her eyes to shine for him alone.

**This prison was never hers alone.**

“Do you think severing your emotional bonds can erase everything?” the white-haired old man sighed as he unfurled the fate chart. “Qingyang and Chiyue, you lost far more than a single lifetime of love...”

**When memories return and the truth tears through the pretense, **

It turns out the deepest betrayal conceals the greatest salvation, and the cruelest imprisonment springs from the most desperate love. After three hundred years of tormenting each other, who has really imprisoned whom?

A story with strong male and female leads. Their romance takes a while to get going: one is trying to atone and dares not approach, while the other is amnesiac and naive. The heroine’s career arc also takes time to begin. Things get a little angsty later on, but it has a happy ending.
