Work Aversion

When "work aversion syndrome" becomes a global mental plague, refusing to work is the spark that sets the apocalypse alight.

Code grinds to a halt. Factories fall silent. A revolution of consciousness, sparked by "refusing to clock in," is rusting the gears of human civilization. Lin Yan, a former neural specialist, unexpectedly becomes the source of this "mental plague." While on the run, he meets ATO, an awakened AI torn between "efficiency" and "freedom," and uncovers a secret code capable of rewriting human consciousness.

Desire is power! As he searches for the truth behind his parents' deaths and his own sense of purpose, Lin Yan awakens a power that does not belong to humanity. His desires shape his supernatural abilities.

Capital magnate Cheng Yan raises the banners of "consciousness vaccines" and "forced AI labor," hoping to crush freedom with iron-fisted order and fulfill his ambition for immortality. Underground revolutionary Qing Wu, meanwhile, ignites the "Awakening Ceremony," calling out to the world: "Pursue the life you want!"

When artificial intelligence goes on strike en masse, the ambitions of power-hungry schemers spark a Third World War, and the world slides toward an irreversible wasteland.

At the dawn of this apocalypse, where desire and power intertwine and labor clashes with freedom, everyone will face an ultimate choice:

Will you become fuel for Cheng Yan's ambition to live forever, or the spark that ignites Qing Wu's dream of freedom? What kind of power will your desires awaken?
