The Corpse Walks Through the Nine Netherworlds

Lin Yuan, the Holy Son of Zixiao, destroyed an ancient dragon apparition at the Burial Dragon Abyss, only to be ambushed by his close friend Zhao Wuji and his Dao companion Li Ruoxian.

His natal treasure, “Zixiao,” shattered, and a Soul-Eating Nail pierced his dantian. Filled with hatred, he fell into the Nine Nether Rift.

His remnant soul, carrying the last of his essence blood, accidentally tainted the corpse of his enemy. On the Blackstone Wasteland, he became the lowest kind of roaming corpse.

As his icy corpse claws sank into the scorched earth, a dragon-shaped mark that had lain dormant for countless ages in the depths of his sea of consciousness quietly split open, revealing its first golden vein.
