After transmigrating to the second year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty, Li Tai has memories of two lifetimes and a System at his side. He presents the curved-share plow, campaigns against the Eastern Turks, builds schools, and makes land state-owned to prevent its concentration in private hands...
With the end of the first Five-Year Plan, the seventh year of Zhenguan arrives, and the Three Dragons attend court together.
On the towers of Xuanwu Gate, banners stand like a forest and dragon flags whip in the wind. Li Er, dressed in a dragon robe embroidered with the Twelve Symbols, sits at the center of the viewing stand. To his left and right are Crown Prince Li Chengqian and Prince of Yue Li Tai. Behind them sit founding ministers such as Zhangsun Wuji, along with envoys from other nations.
The three stand by the railing, gazing down at the main street below, where a grand military parade is underway.
At the far end of the street, drums thunder. Commander-in-chief Cheng Yaojin shouts at the top of his lungs, his voice trembling with barely restrained emotion: “The military parade begins now!”
The next moment, five thousand soldiers in bright armor march forward, their armor plates gleaming coldly in the sunlight and their long spears angled toward the sky. Their steps keep perfect time like a swinging pendulum, pounding the flagstones with a thunderous “thud, thud.” Their ranks are flawless, and even the clatter of their armor rings out in perfect rhythm.
As they pass beneath the tower, the soldiers cry out in unison: “We shall defend the Tang Dynasty, even unto death! Long live our emperor...”
