Bureau 749: I Crush All Evil with Thunder

Lin Leichen was an ordinary young man until he awakened an ancient bloodline that gave him control over thunder and made him the natural nemesis of all evil spirits and monsters. He was recruited into the nation’s most secretive force, Bureau 749, which handled the paranormal cases beyond the understanding of ordinary law enforcement.

From vengeful spirits that devoured souls through mirrors to elegant, deadly vampires beneath the night sky; from aloof sword immortals flying in from Mount Shu to divine envoys from Mount Olympus bearing Zeus’s spear and an olive branch; from thousand-year-old corpse kings awakened in ancient tombs to veteran martial-world figures whose struggle over a fallen god’s artifacts unleashed a bloodbath... Wherever Lin Leichen’s thunder struck, judgment followed.

He advanced over the corpses of countless demons, tempered by blood and fire. As the forces of Eastern and Western mythology collided and intertwined, he gradually unlocked the ancient heritage deep within his bloodline, condensed a Thunder Core, survived the Heavenly Tribulation, and mastered the laws of thunder. When ambitious figures from different pantheons attempted to tear reality apart and reshape the world order, triggering a cataclysm that threatened to collapse the world’s spiritual veins, Lin Leichen stood above the Nine Heavens and summoned the ancient, world-annihilating divine thunder, transforming into a colossal thunder god.

“The Heavenly Dao is out of balance? Then I shall become the new divine punishment!” Under the gaze of all the gods, he wielded the power of the Nine Heavens and used supreme thunder to restore order to the world. In the end, he attained the Dao and ascended, becoming an unrivaled being who spanned the mythologies of East and West and protected the order of the mortal world: the Venerable Lord of Nine Heavens Thunder.
