Reborn in a Sci-Fi Mecha World, Scavenging for Scraps

[Soul transmigration + mecha + no System + no harem + military academy + competitions + battlefield + teamwork + ensemble cast]

In the real world, Ling Qing was a scavenger. She transmigrated into the body of an orphaned child who had suffered from malnutrition for a long time.

Well, that's just great. Ling Qing accepted her bad luck. Why wasn't it like the novels? Other people who transmigrated either came with a System or were born into wealthy families. She, on the other hand, had a disastrous start from the start, and could only keep scavenging to make a living.

The longer she stayed in this other world, the more things there were to shock her worldview. The technology here was advanced enough to make mechas, fine, but why were there also star beasts? And people even tamed them?!

As a teenager, Ling Qing had chosen the mecha pilot program because of her passionate dream of piloting mechas in her previous world. But after growing up, she realized that mecha engineers made a fortune.

So Ling Qing began teaching herself the knowledge required to become a mecha engineer, determined to train herself into an outstanding one. She wouldn't just pilot mechas, she'd make big money too.

As an S-class mecha pilot, Ling Qing was determined to win Ares Military Academy its very first championship trophy.

"Is it really a good idea to make those troublemakers the core team?" one school administrator said anxiously.

"The opposing commander is just a woman. What's there to worry about?"

"That female commander on the other side uses such underhanded tactics!"

"Don't worry about the fight. I'll pay out of pocket to get your mechas repaired."

"Damn! The opponent's a girl, right? How come she fights so viciously? And isn't her mecha a support type?!"

"With me protecting the commander and the mecha engineer, you can all rest easy!"
