A New Life in a Two-Dimensional World

Duanmu Si lived his first thirty years according to his parents’ arrangements, like a puppet. He was even-tempered, with little emotional fluctuation, and never formed close friendships, even when he made friends. One day, on his way home from work, a dump truck hit him while rushing to meet its quota. With his last breath, he wished that if he had another life, it would be as simple as a game. When he woke again, he found himself a child. He decided to live according to his own wishes. As he grew older, he discovered that this was a world of anime, and that life seemed to be getting a little out of control.
