Synopsis

As a boy, I left home in a fit of pique to seek immortality, only to spend half my life with nothing but regret.

Now in my sixties, I return home alone by boat, to find my loved ones in their graves.

Chen Dao wandered for more than forty years, achieving nothing in letters or martial arts, while the path to immortality remained beyond reach. At Qinglong Temple, he reunited with an old friend and completed a fragmentary scripture. In his twilight years, he unexpectedly opened the mysterious gate and set foot on the path to immortality once more…
