[Mary Sue + prestigious academy + everyone's favorite + all villains + romantic rivalry showdown]
Gu Ziyi once had a happy, loving family.
A conspiracy destroyed everything she had.
Her top-student younger brother mysteriously jumped to his death.
Her kindhearted stepfather, a doctor, also died under mysterious circumstances.
Unable to bear the blow, her mother took sleeping pills.
After uncovering a few clues, she traced everything back to her biological father's current wife.
To get revenge, she disguised herself as a man and showed up claiming to be family. Her scumbag father was thrilled to have an heir, and arranged for her to attend the capital's top aristocratic academy.
Before she knew it, she had stolen the spotlight from the F4 and become the school's most popular student, beloved by both boys and girls.
