The Courtyard Dwellers: I Just Can't Help Loving You

Everyone is single.

After the second season of The Great Escape wrapped up, Shen Zhiyi took a break from filming to focus on her studies, then disappeared from public view.

She never made an official announcement or courted publicity, yet became the academy's unattainable first love, someone nobody dared bring up lightly.

But she had never truly gone away, and stayed in touch with her old friends in private.

Once her studies were finally behind her, the production team sent her an invitation, and she returned to the familiar filming set.

But this time, she keenly sensed that...

Everyone looked at her differently than before.

Their warmth was tempered by restraint, their closeness edged with caution, and even their jokes carried a sincerity they didn't dare put into words.
