I’m Leading an Industrial Revolution in the Qing Dynasty

Financial analyst Lin Mo is reborn in 1840, right at the Humen Fort.

Seeing the Qing forces still using their manure-bucket tactics, he turns the tables and launches the "Lin Futures War": he buys up all the coastal opium and forces British merchants to jump into the sea.

The noblewomen of the capital sneer that merchants are lowborn, so he strikes back by establishing the "Great Qing Industrial Group," with railways, telegraph lines, and steel mills springing up everywhere.

Queen Victoria vows to teach the barbarians a lesson, but Lin Mo's ironclad is already approaching the Thames. "I hear you want to sell opium?"

When the Eight-Nation Alliance sees "Flying Dragon" fighter jets roaring overhead, Lin Mo lounges on the Dragon Throne in the Forbidden City with his girlfriend, a medical doctor who has returned from studying abroad, and smiles. "Gentlemen, it's time to sign a new treaty."

This time, we're the ones collecting the rent.
