Synopsis
In this absurd modern world where spiritual energy is returning, demons and ghosts share the stage with livestream tips, while talismans and short videos are equally commonplace. Lin Mo, an outcast disciple of the Maoshan Sect, has the bizarre constitution that the more socially anxious he is, the stronger his yang energy becomes. He turns an electronic wooden fish into a tool for delivering souls, and uses slacker talismans to lie flat while meeting his exorcism KPIs. When the Spirit-Suppressing Pagoda cracks and an ancient ferocious beast is about to awaken, the entire mystical world is too busy hawking products on variety shows to bother with the “trivial” matter of saving the world.
At that moment, this champion of doing the bare minimum, who carries a “No Socializing” warning sign wherever he goes, is thrust into the role of savior. He teams up with a slacker fox demon and a chatterbox influencer Taoist, leading the demon world's anti-overwork alliance. They deflect attacks with half-hearted incantations, dodge crises with paid bathroom breaks, and even attempt to purify the beast's violent nature with a shocking “social anxiety manifesto”! Thus begins a fantasy adventure that counters crises by lying flat and overturns the rules by doing the bare minimum. After all, saving the world can wait. First, let's slack off for a bit!
