Eight years after their breakup, Cong Wu never thought she would see Fu Jinye again.
On the night they reunited, at the end of the corridor, the man held a cigarette between his fingers and stared at her. His voice was hoarse. “What, it’s been years and you’ve forgotten how to talk?”
She met his gaze and gave him what he wanted. “Long time no see.”
But he kept closing in, warning her under his breath, “Cong Wu, don’t let me see you again, or…”
“I’ll kill you.”

Cong Wu avoided him at every turn and wanted nothing more than to become strangers, but fate had other plans, and they spent one reckless night together.
When she woke the next morning, the man made her relive it, whispering in her ear, “Cong Wu, does your boyfriend know how good you had it with me last night?”
Furious and mortified, Cong Wu raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
Instead of getting angry, the man laughed. He bent over her, his large hand sliding over her slender waist, his lips forcefully claiming hers. “Cong Wu, dump him!”

When they got back together, everyone was convinced Fu Jinye was only doing it for revenge, and that Cong Wu was nothing but his plaything.
Until a video surfaced…
In it, the man firmly held the woman on his lap, yet was humbly coaxing her. “Come on, don’t be mad. You can bite my Adam’s apple if you want.”
The plot is compact, but the number of chapters is relatively small
