A Lonely Boat in the Waves, a Drop in the Ocean

Special thanks to my friend (ChicagoViolin), who stayed with me for three years in the setting, before I dared to complete these twists and turns. This story has the bones of history, the soul of myth, the cold light of ancient technology, and the warmth of children of the world; it can range from prairie rivers and lakes to space opera, and it can also suddenly insert philosophical thoughts into nonsensical sand sculptures - after all, the protagonist is an unlucky guy carrying a clockwork gear of "time and memory", and was thrown into the world by the supreme being. You have to work with him: as a traveler in the absurd cosmic gamble, jumping repeatedly between failure and struggle; either digging cracks and holes in the world line, or being an "actor" for the two cosmic brothers in the reincarnation drama. Life is like Sisyphus pushing a stone. God knows whether it will hit his foot in the next second. But maybe the luck of world line 667 can be a little better? The new writer worked hard and spent three years from conception to writing.
