Records of the Mystic Pivot and Karma

The Heavenly Dao is collapsing? He devours heavenly fate with calamity, slaying every demon and monster in his path!

“Neither fortune nor misfortune comes without cause; people bring it upon themselves. Good and evil are repaid, like shadows that follow the body.”

This was an unchanging law of the Heavenly Dao since time immemorial.

The First Saintess stood at the source of the river of fate and cut off every “variable” beneath the Heavenly Dao.

She founded the Xuan Shu Institute, using secret arts to manipulate and control everyone’s karma.

Karma was no longer an ethereal destiny, but a law that could be manipulated.

A thousand years later, in Wangchen Village, a young man named

Lu Wuchuan, a low-ranking lackey of the Xuan Shu Institute raised by his master,

was fuel for the Xuan Shu Heavenly Dao. He would weigh the karma of the world.

Lu Wuchuan: You know the Xuan Shu Institute’s karma scales? I use them as a toy.

Qin Xiao Yan cultivated for a hundred years before becoming a judge, while I only need to lift a finger.

You Shou’an burned his soul and severed his karma. Was he afraid I’d come after him, or was he keeping a way out?

Did the First Saintess cut the threads of fate because she feared my arrival, or was she forging a new path?

I turn a page and night falls; I close the book and dawn breaks. If I’m not the variable, then who is?

Know why the tomb guardians watch over Guixu? It’s because I need the place.

Since I began cultivating the Dao, karma has never escaped my grasp.

When I first awakened, even the reincarnation loom wove me a shroud for three hundred lifetimes. I only just managed to accept it.

Karma? Even dogs don’t want to get mixed up in it!
