Lin Feng, once a special forces king known by the codename "Shadow," was forced to retire after refusing to carry out a shady mission. He returned to his hometown of Yunhai City, only to find that his father was gravely ill and the family business had been maliciously swallowed up by the Zhou Group. An investigation revealed that it was all part of a predatory lending scheme set up by Zhou Hao, the Zhou family's young master.
To take revenge, Lin Feng returns to his ruthless ways. During his investigation, he saves Su Yurou, his former high school classmate, now a kind and resilient neurologist. Reunited, they rekindle their old feelings, but Zhou Hao's threats keep coming. At a class reunion, Zhou Hao brings people to humiliate Su Yurou. Lin Feng strikes like a thunderbolt, stunning everyone, but also enraging the Zhou family beyond measure.
As his investigation deepens, Lin Feng discovers that the Zhou Group is secretly working with a mysterious organization called "Netherworld." Its leader, Chen Feng, is none other than Lin Feng's former comrade-in-arms, whom he believed had died in action, now transformed into a demon bent on revenge. Faced with corporate conspiracies, attacks from underworld forces, and the betrayal of his former comrade, Lin Feng must pool his resources and join forces with new ally Zhao Tiezhu, a former security team captain, and his old comrade Zhang Meng to wage a bloody battle in the urban jungle.
