This is a good book, with a compact structure and no loss of details. I think it should be rated above 9 points, but unfortunately the current rating is less than 6 points. Where is the writing good? For example, Shen An led his cavalry for 800 miles to rush to serve the king, the preparation of food and fodder before departure, the exhausted state when he arrived at Shanhaiguan, and the ability of the defending army to verify the transfer order and seal. These details are beyond the reach of most authors. The description of the difficulties of the journey highlights the perseverance and heroic spirit of the protagonist. For example, novice authors usually write about the protagonist running thousands of miles, arriving at Shanhaiguan and killing all parties, surpassing Guan Ning's army in military exploits, slapping the arrogant Wu Sangui in the face, and shocking the government and the public. The author Cang Ge did not have this conventional writing method. Instead, he wrote that he had traveled a long way and was not taken seriously. He just watched the battle. He only earned his own military rations with all his efforts and courage, and then led the team back to the south in disgrace. This way of writing is more realistic, reasonable and tortuous. I didn't get a slap in the face this time because I wanted to make subsequent slaps in the face more stable and enjoyable.
