Chen He, a cultivator from a sect in the Hua Kingdom, assumed her path to immortality would mean meditating in her cave abode, riding her sword to slay demons, keeping spirit beasts for company, and roaming freely between heaven and earth. She never imagined that a letter delivered by an owl with an eccentric style would sweep her into the entirely unfamiliar Western Wizarding World: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she would become a “cultural exchange student.”
At Hogwarts, she meets the troublemaking trio destined to cross her path: Harry Potter, The Chosen One, with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead, clear eyes, and a heavy fate to bear; Ron Weasley, a freckle-faced redhead who is warmhearted and sincere, but occasionally a little scatterbrained; and Hermione Granger, a young witch with a halo of curls, clever and well-read, yet constantly baffled by the arcane concepts Chen He mentions, such as “Foundation Establishment,” “purple qi coming from the east,” and “merit,” to the point that she nearly doubts the very foundations of the Wizarding World. Chen He’s worldview of cultivation collides spectacularly with what she learns about magic, leading to one hilarious mishap after another.
And so the eccentric young cultivator sets off on an extraordinary journey to protect Hogwarts and bridge the civilizations of Eastern and Western magic and immortal arts. She makes hand seals with one hand and wields a wand with the other, while the bewildered yet inexplicably trusting “Golden Trio” follows behind her, along with a Potions professor who has been dragged into the affair against his will, his black robes billowing and his expression growing ever darker.
