The Mafia Boss and the Rookie Cop

Dual heroines: when a white dove of justice collides with the queen of the night.

New cop Lin Wei keeps running into the elegant, mysterious business queen Su Ye: at anti-prostitution raids, in gang battles, and even right outside her own apartment. One is as pure as a blank sheet of paper; the other is unfathomable. Lin Wei thinks Su Ye is a dangerous suspect who needs investigating, yet Su Ye repeatedly gives her an umbrella in the pouring rain and saves her at gunpoint. Su Ye thinks Lin Wei is a naive, reckless nuisance, yet she can’t help honing her skills on the training ground and protecting her from the shadows. Then the bloodstained past comes to light: one is the elite undercover agent who “died in the line of duty” seven years ago; the other is “Sister Ye,” now moving through the underworld. A police officer and a gang leader, a victim and an avenger, they face off with blades drawn amid lies and betrayal, yet feel a fatal attraction to each other. When every boundary collapses, can they protect one another and fight their way to survival through gunfire and lies?

You are my daylight, and my darkness.”
