A kindhearted, straightforward fox spirit who says exactly what she thinks x a proud, sharp-tongued former top-tier star who’s good at convincing himself he’s in love
After failing her tribulation, the fox spirit Yun Wu was fried crisp by lightning. To hide her identity, she transformed into a white cat, and He Yan took her home.
One day, He Yan’s childhood friend came over to drop him off.
Friend: “I heard you got a cat. What breed is it?”
Then he spotted a girl standing in the living room, wearing a cat-ear headband and He Yan’s clothes.
Friend: “You got yourself a cat…girl?!”
After living together for a while, Yun Wu realized that He Yan hardly socialized.
Books said a lack of social interaction could cause psychological problems.
So she began enthusiastically dragging He Yan to all kinds of social events.
Including, but not limited to, the neighborhood recycling-sorting contest, mall promotional games, and an amateur karaoke competition.
Leading by example, Yun Wu kicked things off with a performance of “Mice Love Rice.”
Everyone: “…”
After the event, Yun Wu and He Yan headed home together.
He Yan: “The moonlight is beautiful tonight.”
Yun Wu: “I want a chicken drumstick.”
He Yan: “…”
She might not understand the romantic meaning of “The moonlight is beautiful tonight,” but she understands “I love you as much as I love chicken drumsticks.”
After Yun Wu realized she had fallen for He Yan, she racked her brains trying to figure out how to confess.
It didn’t matter that she had no experience. She was a fox spirit who had thoroughly studied Ideological and Moral Education!
While He Yan was playing the piano, she slowly walked over and made her heartfelt confession.
“Books say sincere friendships are built on shared ideals. I think your compositional style and my moral values complement each other very well.”
He Yan’s hand slipped: “…”
It looks good, it looks good, it looks good, the heroine is really evil 🤦
