A Golden Hairpin Traded for Cold Iron Armor

Shen Yu is forced to disguise herself as a man and take her elder brother’s place as the “Young General of the Shen family” after he flees on the eve of battle. Blessed with a photographic memory and exceptional military talent, she is tough, sharp-witted, and possessed of a dark sense of humor. From an innocent young noblewoman, she gradually grows into a true iron-blooded commander. (A story about the growth of a female general.)
