Every Day I Raise the Male Lead's Hate Meter

[Quick Transmigration + System + Transmigrate into a Book]

Shen Mo was an excellent secret agent in his previous life. After a mission failed, a System bound itself to him and ordered him to rack up the protagonists’ hate points.

Looking at the two characters in the original story, who endured a tortured romance before finally ending up together, Shen Mo felt that the heroines had suffered far too much, so he cut back on the times he tried to raise their hate points.

The male leads, by contrast, were mostly moody and unpredictable. Having enjoyed smooth sailing for nearly their entire lives, they were quick to erupt in hatred at the slightest setback, so Shen Mo set his sights on them instead.

Who did the male leads care about most? Obviously, the heroines.

To earn hate points, Shen Mo began helping the heroines escape from the male leads.

In a melodramatic rich-family novel, Shen Mo helped the imprisoned, innocent heroine flee abroad, skipping half the book’s love and hate and sending the male lead straight into his desperate quest to win his wife back.

In a body-double historical romance, Shen Mo helped the heroine, a former secret agent, fake her death and escape the prince’s residence. She traveled the martial world, and the male lead went mad.

In a Western fantasy leveling-up novel, Shen Mo helped the demon heroine escape her contract. She went on a furious revenge spree, and the male lead was nearly beaten to death.

In a cultivation romance, Shen Mo took the heroine as his disciple and carefully trained her until she was every bit the equal of the reborn male lead. His hate points soared.

Along the way, Shen Mo also found precious friendship and love. After saying goodbye to the System, he began a new life of his own.
