I'll Come Find You

There were throngs of respectable men and women at the gathering, most dressed in black and white. It felt less like a small get-together and more like a funeral. A Xi still couldn't understand this kind of “fashion.” He liked piling all sorts of bright, flashy fabrics on himself, and just the other day he'd bought a bright red casual outfit. He wore it to the gathering today, and now he really was a single red flower among a sea of green.

Two relationships, a few petty troubles, and luckily, I found you in the end.
