Synopsis

At first, no one paid any attention to the disaster.

It wasn’t until the first giant beast tore through the coastline that humanity saw the apocalypse in the glare of nuclear fire.

Five years later, Lin Feng is the bottom-ranked washout at the Mech Academy, while his girlfriend, Su Rui, brushes the dust of the past in an ancient civilization research institute.

When the Sea-Splitter tears through the steel dome, he charges toward the beast’s jaws in a rust-covered training mech.

All so Su Rui can get one step farther away.

Looking for Mecha Novels That Are a Good Read

I really like mecha and that sort of thing, but I'm in a reading slump. Can anyone recommend some good mecha novels? Ideally something that holds up well over time.

Looking for Giant Mecha Novels

Other than Great Wall Watch, I haven't found any mecha novels on Tomato that really hit me in the feels. At least give me something like Pacific Rim, the Knight mechs from Warhammer, or Divine Machines. Even better if they get to crush some aliens.
