Chen Facai, a street thug born with the ability to attract ghosts, makes a living in the cracks of the city by running a haunted-house agency that specializes in properties for the dead. His clients aren't the living, but death-row inmates. He finds these doomed souls ominous places to serve as their afterlife homes, helping them fulfill their final wishes and earning money paid for their lives.
A sky-high commission shatters his precarious routine: place the ashes of a scumbag who died in a car crash into the bathtub of a luxury villa where a woman in red drowned. He thinks it's a simple delivery job, but the tub suddenly gushes blood, and a vengeful spirit comes seeking lives.
He gradually discovers:
⚠️ The woman's drowning was no accident. It was a carefully planned murder by the person closest to her.
⚠️ The lover who took the blame and died a tragic death is having his soul torn apart and devoured by the vengeful spirit in red.
⚠️ The wealthy client who hired him is the woman's obsessively devoted female friend, determined to make her enemy's soul vanish forever...
In his left hand is a fortune stained with blood; in his right, the wails of the wrongfully dead. When the spirit's bloody handprint brands his palm, Chen Facai is forced to struggle in the abyss between the worlds of the living and the dead:
Keep being an underworld broker who takes money to get the job done?
Or become a bridge with his own body, expose the bloody lies, and lead the dead into the light?
Meanwhile, in the shadows, the Crow Lawyer's next contract has quietly landed on his battered wooden desk.
