Resistance Is Futile! Becoming the Mate of a Possessive Lion King

[Two Male Leads + Beast World + Transmigration + Two Powerful Leads + Nation-Building + A Rebel Who Makes the Tyrant Beg for His Life / A Mind-Reading, Unhinged Lion King] Either tame the tyrant, or be tamed by him. After dying while playing a game about overthrowing a tyrant, Huo Lin transmigrated to a continent inhabited by beastfolk. The good news: he was reborn in another world with his memories intact, and awakened the ability to strengthen objects. The bad news: the game's deranged tyrant had also transmigrated, and was now his boss: the Lion King. In the game, Huo Lin had played a treacherous minister who nearly toppled Aivi from his throne. Now he was a prisoner, struggling in the tyrant's grasp. And on this beastfolk continent, Aivi was still the supreme king. Aivi's bloody, brutal rule was driving the mighty beastfolk dynasty toward the abyss: famine was spreading, foreign enemies threatened, and internal strife was growing. The kingdom stood on the brink of collapse. Now Huo Lin faced a choice: Let the dynasty perish under Aivi's tyranny, or lead his people in a desperate fightback and forge a brighter future? The obsessive Lion King watched him like a shadow. Lurking at Huo Lin's side, he monitored his former nemesis's every move with keen interest. At last, on Huo Lin's escape route, he dropped his disguise and dragged his “prey” by force up onto the city wall... * Huo Lin (experimenting with his ability, turning a teacup as big as a washbasin): What good is this useless ability if all it does is make things bigger?! Did Aivi lock me up for months just to watch this? Aivi (lounging against the throne, tapping the armrest with his fingertips): Bigger... It has potential. I look forward to seeing what other uses you come up with. (His gaze is full of meaning.) Huo Lin (bristling): ...Are the uses you're looking forward to actually decent?! (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻
