The Lamplighter on Mars

In the third year after China's Yinghuo Base was completed, it suddenly received an emergency evacuation order of the highest priority from Earth.

> Base commander Lin Hai noticed a tiny discrepancy in the order's encryption and decided to disobey it and stay behind.

> After the other spacecraft took off, Lin Hai spotted a ten-kilometer-wide asteroid hurtling toward Earth.

> Alone, he redirected all the base's energy into the laser array in the agricultural greenhouse.

> After Earth was saved, Lin Hai received an encrypted message amid a Martian sandstorm:

> "The evacuation order was fake. You are the real spark."
