This is the "Final Library", and each copy is a tampered book of rules: in "The Truman Show", the audience's applause is a countdown to death; in "Resident Evil", the decay rate of zombies hides the entropy code. Others rely on the system to cheat, but Chen Entropy relies on "time backtracking" and broken memory fragments - but every time he goes back, he gets further away from his true self.
