Xiang Yu, daughter of a prince of the Great Song, meets Yang Yichen, a great general of Chu, at an opera house. Both have left their past relationships behind, and now they have found each other. The emperor of Great Song wants Xiang Yu and Yang Yichen to marry in a political alliance, but Xiang Yu runs away from the wedding. On the road, she meets Yang Yichen. Just then, the barbarians prepare to attack both kingdoms. The two face a great battle together and ultimately find a happy ending.
