A very down-to-earth novel, full of solid information without those messy descriptions of scenery and character portraits. Not even the outcome of each case is narrated. But everyone knows the ending. This is the real novel. Unlike several high-scoring novels I have read, which are comparable to literary competitions. They are either too exaggerated or have gorgeous rhetoric to show off their literary level, but what we want to see is the origin, process and ending of each story. It's not about admiring your literary skills. That's why I particularly like novels like this that are crisp and non-protracted. The only regret is that the male protagonist is a bit pitiful, his love is humble and his efforts are sincere and cautious. But the ending is pretty perfect. Because before the heroine ascended, she had used a wisp of purple energy from the hero to change his short-lived ending. Although I am also looking forward to the second part. But it was a bit difficult to read, because I went to the author's homepage to read it, and after that I wrote about other topics.
