From Grandma to Xiuying

A woman's life is short, from wedding dress to burial shroud.

A woman's life is long, too: daughter, wife, mother, then grandmother and maternal grandmother, until she eventually loses her own name.

Grandma was that kind of woman. At the end of her life, Alzheimer's took away all her memories, but she became herself again: Xiuying.
