One-on-one, both leads are each other’s first and only, happy ending
[A muddleheaded, innocent fatherly deity × a clever, eccentric girl who hides her feelings and has gone astray]
A heartwarming little story about a deity and an ordinary human girl saving and healing each other.
I’ve seen a deity. They were even more immaculate than I imagined.
I’ve seen the river. He was even more handsome than I imagined.
I’ve seen you, and carved your face into my heart.
He saved me twice.
The first time, he gave me a new life.
I saw a world beneath the river that I’d never known existed.
The second time, he gave me the courage to fear nothing.
I could bravely make a life for myself on this land.
After years of loneliness, the River God Zhou Du finds a girl who has fallen into the water, and from then on, she sticks to him like glue.
She even asks him to pretend to be her family and help her study.
He finds it amusing, so he agrees.
But how is he supposed to pretend?
Looking at his phone, Zhou Du finds out how to be a good “family member.”
What he doesn’t know is that it’s actually an old-fashioned romance about a fake step-sibling relationship. The brother in the story isn’t really the girl’s brother, and the girl isn’t really his sister.
But he takes it seriously and studies hard.
The brother holds an umbrella over his sister, so he does too.
The brother tutors his sister, so he does too.
The brother cooks for his sister, so he does too.
The brother does his sister’s laundry, so he does too.
The brother warms his sister’s bed, so he does too.
Wait, is something wrong here?
Maybe every girl has imagined that a deity would cross mountains, rivers, and all four seasons just to come to her.
“You are my deity.”
Very well written, keep up the good work!
