Back to 1985: From the Start, I Made a Comeback with Fifty Cents

[Face-slapping] [punishing scumbags] [building wealth] [feel-good power fantasy] A 28-year-old overworked bachelor, Meng Changping, wakes up one day transmigrated to 1985, in the body of a wife-beating scumbag hated by everyone.

The moment he opens his eyes, his beautiful wife is holding a kitchen knife, while their five-year-old daughter cowers in the corner.

His predecessor had not only squandered the family fortune, but had nearly sold his own daughter.

Looking at the empty rice jar and the deadbeat friends demanding money outside, Meng Changping clenches the last fifty cents in his pocket.

He swears to give his wife and daughter a good life.

He deals with parasitic relatives, puts his deadbeat friends in their place, and rides the tide of reform by using his knowledge of the future.

While everyone waits to laugh at him, Meng Changping is quietly building his own business empire.

His wife, who once held a knife against him, asks with tear-filled eyes, "Who are you, really?"

Meng Changping draws his wife and daughter into his arms. "I'm the one who's here to make it up to you."
