The Interstellar Professor of Botany

The female lead, Shui Yunyue, has water-based powers. The water that flows from her right hand can purify contamination. She is a professor of botany, a position she earned by pelting people with seeds.

The male lead, Lian Chuyuan, is the captain of the First Legion’s Fifth Squad, a walking plot device.

In the interstellar era, solar radiation pollution is severe, and crops must be grown inside radiation-proof greenhouses. Shui Yunyue is a water-based ability user whose greatest wish is to become a dual water-and-wood ability user. Of course, that is impossible. So she uses the purified water from her right hand to grow uncontaminated energy fruits and grain seeds, earning a place in the botany department of the Federation’s First Military Academy, where all the students are wood-based ability users. After graduation, the young master of the Shui family demands that she pay her fees, so she pelts her way into a professorship with uncontaminated energy seeds. Solar radiation pollution is severe across the interstellar world, but with the discovery of the first tree that can release purifying oxygen, the interstellar era is about to enter a new age~
