His Lifelong Serenity

During the summer vacation before her senior year of high school, Gu Shiyu, the boy Xia Zhiwei had secretly loved for a long time, suddenly said to her, “Let's both get into S University.”

They both got into S University as promised. Xia Zhiwei thought she had finally reached the end of her long pursuit of him, but everything seemed to return to square one. They were trapped in the tantalizing gray area between friendship and romance, constantly testing each other's limits.

Then Chen Yirui, who was known as the perfect match for Gu Shiyu, appeared, and Gu Shiyu unexpectedly became her “boyfriend.” Xia Zhiwei was heartbroken and let go. Only then did Gu Shiyu belatedly recognize his true feelings and begin groveling to win her back. His relentless efforts finally led them into a sweet romance.

Just as their feelings grew stronger, the appearance of one of Gu Shiyu's obsessive admirers brought constant friction to their relationship. At the same time, Xia Zhiwei's application for an exchange student program was accepted, and she had to study abroad for a year. The distance deepened the rift between them, and they broke up.

During the year they were apart, Gu Shiyu's constant letters and sincere feelings moved Xia Zhiwei, and the two finally reconciled.
