[Mutual pining | Lighthearted comedy | Socially mortifying moments]
[Flop author | Socially anxious | Keyboard warrior VS top-tier star | Lifelong singleton | Sharp-tongued]
Question: What's the most mortifying mistake you've ever made at work?
Answer: Thanks for asking. The top-tier star read aloud the steamy scene I wrote at the train station, in front of a crowd. I was wearing wrinkled clothes, and my hair was so greasy you could squeeze out a couple ounces of oil.
Jiang Xiaotang's life was utterly Barbie-Q'd the moment she mass-emailed a draft of her steamy scene to her idol, Lu Zhao.
She thought it marked the end of her career, but instead she received a scathing email from a mysterious ID, "L," tearing her work to shreds:
"Your prose is a mess, the logic makes no sense, and you can't even write a decent sex scene."
The keyboard warrior in her blazed to life. She and L traded barbs by email and battled for months, going from mortal enemies to confidants, until they belatedly realized they'd fallen for each other.
But on the very day she was preparing to meet him in person and confess...
Under the spotlight, Lu Zhao held up her mortifying draft and began speaking in his cool, clear voice to the cameras watching by the millions:
"I've recently been reading a very interesting novel. The author's imagination really runs wild..."
He paused, then looked toward Jiang Xiaotang, who had already frozen solid in the crowd below, amusement filling his eyes.
"It's just... the sex scenes aren't very good."
I like this sweet little article. The interaction between the heroine and the top star is very interesting~(¯▽¯~) My aunt laughed when she read it😊
