Yun Chen, an experimental subject with a spacetime gene, encounters the angel Liang Bing, who is resisting Hua Ye's tyranny, while desperately trying to escape the Heavenly Palace laboratory. His precognitive abilities reveal that no matter where he flees, Hua Ye's darkness will eventually swallow the universe. Hunted and facing genetic collapse, Yun Chen chooses to join the resistance.
