The planet is like a mysterious living “Chaos Broodmother,” constantly absorbing life force to ascend to a higher dimension. The moon is a mysterious place where the Outer Gods of Cthulhu descend, while the uncanny are incarnations of the obsessions of those who failed to ascend in the previous generation. The four-dimensional world is tightly bound by a cycle of time. In truth, the Outer Gods are the most powerful beings: future humans who crossed time to prevent ascension, creating a closed loop in which preventing ascension brings it about.
- The protagonist’s golden finger: none. The male lead relies on his immortal “Dark Profound Zombie Body” and cunning schemes, while the female lead uses the “Eternal Cosmos Heavenly Art” left behind by the Outer Gods to reverse cause and effect. But each use accelerates the distortion of time.
- Power levels: spirit bodies, humans, and mechanical spirits are ranked “Mortal Spirit, Spirit Communicator, Profound Spirit, Earth Spirit, Heavenly Spirit, Venerable Spirit.” The Outer Gods are “Temporal Venerable Spirits,” able to travel freely along chains of causality, while the will of the planet is the supreme existence.
