A Fleeting Life, Chengze

I, Li Chengze, have spent my whole life being used by my own father as a whetstone for the crown prince. Am I nothing but his pawn? In my previous life, I died by my own hand. I had so many regrets and so much resentment. Not one of my family or friends understood me. Even An Zhi, the author of Dream of the Red Chamber, the only person I liked... I thought of him as a kindred spirit. He wrote so many poems and songs, so why didn't he understand me? Why?

I've been lonely all my life, and now Heaven has given me another chance, only to set me once more on this path to the abyss.

Faced with all this, where should I go from here?

I'm Jun Yan, an utterly ordinary new writer. I liked the character Li Chengze, and seeing how much he was denied and how many regrets he had, I wanted to make up for my own regrets by writing a story about him.

What?!

I had just finished Chapter 6 of my first book, a Joy of Life fanfic, when I transmigrated into the world of Joy of Life, and by pure coincidence, landed inside the very story I had just written.

"Aaaah! I just started this new book and haven't even written an outline! I don't know where the plot is going next! This is the new world I wrote! Am I going to get eaten alive in here, without even a scrap left? Sob!"

Luckily, I transmigrated as a little cat in the Second Prince's residence, and the plot doesn't affect me. At least I've got a chance to survive... sobbing cat!
