Purgatory Mercenary: From Blackwater to the Top of the World

Long Ji was framed for murder. On the eve of his execution, a mysterious mercenary group bought him.

“Welcome to Blackwater International Training Camp, rookie.” The instructor kicked over his tray. “The rules here are simple: survive, or become fertilizer for the bodies.”

During his first live mission, his entire team was wiped out. He fought his way through the enemy stronghold alone.

“Lucky bastard, surviving that.” The King of Soldiers sneered and handed him a bloodstained silver dog tag. “Take it. It belonged to your ‘father.’”

Ten years later, the global underworld trembled: the “Purgatory” mercenary group had risen.

When his enemy knelt in a pool of blood, roaring, “Why?” Long Ji flicked away the ash from his cigarette.

“Just settling a debt, for the brothers we fed to the dogs at Blackwater all those years ago.”
