No romance, farming and raising children, decisive and ruthless, cultivating immortality, fighting through all three realms
Synopsis: Factory worker Mao Erjie transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West as Mao Erjie, and awakens a mission System. As long as she completes the scripted deaths, she can return to the moment before she died in her original world. In other words, once she goes back, she can use the information she already knows to escape her fate and prevent the tragedy. But she has already lost all hope in her family and is unwilling to return to that cold world to be an overworked corporate drone, constantly exploited. Yet if she strays from the plot and fails a mission, the System will erase her. Since she is going to die sooner or later, she might as well kill herself now. That would be better than being trampled to death by a pig: that would be such a humiliating way to go. So she begins trying all sorts of ways to get herself killed. With no other choice, the System applies to its superiors to change her mission: if she can fit into the mortal world and live there for ten years without anyone discovering she is a demon, she will be rewarded with ascension to the Upper Realm and a place among the immortals.
