When modern-day office drone Li Xiaoming opens his eyes, he discovers that he's transmigrated into the role of Boss Li, the hot-tempered logging boss from Boonie Bears who is only ever heard and never seen. He looks at the Bald Qiang on the other end of the phone, about to be thoroughly outsmarted by the bears, then at Gou Xiong Ling behind him, riddled with danger but full of possibilities, and decisively throws out the family hand-me-down script of "demand more logging, dock his pay."
This isn't a cookie-cutter story of turning the tables. It's a feel-good workplace survival tale about a transmigrator with a modern business mindset forging a new path in an animated world. The male lead, Boss Li, is sharp and resourceful. Instead of resorting to empty threats and exploitation, he sets his sights on the inventive talent Bald Qiang wastes on chopping trees. "Forget chopping trees. Wouldn't it be better to make money selling your automatic cooking machine and off-road motorcycle?"
