Tales from the Strange Coffin

"Tales from the Coffin: It's Not a Coffin You're Carrying, It's a Debt Collecting Your Life!"

On his first job after taking over his family's coffin-carrying business, Chen Mo encounters something sinister: the coffin is as heavy as a mountain, and black-red "ink" seeps out of it! Forced to open the Secret Records of Coffin Mountain left behind by his grandfather, he learns that what he's carrying isn't a coffin, but a vessel for a century-old vengeful spirit to claim lives.

With his food-loving childhood friend Wang Pangzi, whose snark is off the charts; the beautiful reporter Pang Yue, who bears a "well"-shaped mark; and a black cat named Meiqiu that specializes in scratching evil spirits, Chen Mo grits his teeth and ventures into cursed places: the Pang family's old well, where ghost soldiers march; the Jinding Building, where a red-clad spirit claims lives; the Netherworld Ferry, where ten thousand souls wail...

Meanwhile, the mastermind, the "Tomb Keeper," is grinning as he breaks the seal on the Nine-Dragon Coffin. As the coffin lid trembles and evil spirits run rampant, this oddball exorcist team can only grab some glutinous rice, peachwood nails, and their family's legendary gift of gab...

These days, without a side hustle, you can't even carry a coffin properly!
