Buddhism in the Atomic Age

People today revere science and seek to understand how matter can be put to use. Buddhism sets forth the Three Truths to explain the inherent virtues of all sentient beings. At first glance, principle and phenomena seem distinct, but on closer examination they are inseparable. In truth, science does not go beyond the Three Truths, nor do the Three Truths reject science. Only Buddhism fully awakens and harmonizes all things. Thus, it adapts to conditions without changing, and reaches ultimate nirvana. People today are deluded and attached to one-sided views, and so they become bound by their surroundings and their own minds, cycling through the six realms of rebirth. Yet awakening is innate, while delusion is an illusion imposed upon it. The deluded must therefore be guided toward awakening through skillful means, while awakening must be brought to completion through the widespread teaching of the Dharma. The deluded are confused by the Three Delusions; the awakened have realized the Three Truths., By lay Buddhist Luo Wuxu
