Transmigrating to the Southern Song: Can't We Lie Flat Together?

[Farming] [Highly Detailed] [In-Depth Tech Tree] [Colonial Company]

Five overworked office workers from Shenzhen transmigrate to Leizhou, Southern Song territory, in 1265, in what is now Zhanjiang, Guangdong. To survive and establish themselves amid the chaos that is about to come, they have no choice but to develop technology and industry, pursue seafaring and trade, and equip themselves with modern weapons...

In just over a decade, the Yuan will destroy the Southern Song, and the tragedy of Yashan will unfold. What different stories might play out along this timeline?

What makes this story unique:

[Hardcore Science] The novel contains extensive, detailed explanations of technological knowledge, which might leave readers reeling. Feel free to skip them if they make you uncomfortable.

[Rigorous Worldbuilding] The plot follows basic logic and scientific principles.

[Logical Deduction] The story unfolds naturally through the chain of cause and effect: “technological breakthroughs, their social impact, and the responses of various groups.” At times, it may not deliver the usual power-fantasy thrills, but it aims to be relatively convincing.

[Ensemble Cast] The focus is on the rivalries and balance of power between different factions. There is little scheming between individuals, though there is some banter and humor. The author has limited experience writing romance, so some parts might leave readers reeling.
