After reading "Blood Pattern Awakening: Beacon Fire Sword City", I just want to say, this book is awesome! I was attracted by the setting at first. The protagonist Ling Yu's blood pattern awakening setting was very novel and aroused my curiosity immediately. As the story progresses, there are even more surprises. The world building in the book is quite grand, and the cultivation system is complex and fascinating. From various magical techniques to magical weapons with different powers, every setting is meticulous and it is obvious that the author has put a lot of effort into it. Just like the scene where Ling Yu obtains the Beacon Sword, the description of the environment of the mysterious place and the dangers of the mysterious beasts make people feel like they are on the scene, tense and exciting. The character development is also outstanding. Ling Yu is not the cliché protagonist who is invincible and cheats. He has growing pains and will shrink and hesitate when facing difficulties. But driven by the support and belief of his partners, he moves forward bravely time and time again. The role of Su Yao is particularly lovable. She is lively and clever, adding a lot of relaxed atmosphere to the tense adventure. The emotional line between her and Ling Yu is green and beautiful, which makes people laugh. The plot has ups and downs and constant reversals. I thought it was a simple upgrade by killing monsters, but I didn't expect that there was a huge conspiracy behind it. Every time I think the truth is revealed, a new mystery will appear. When reading, I can't guess the direction at all, and I can only follow the protagonist all the way. The battle scenes are also unambiguous, with magical weapons colliding and spiritual techniques flying. The words seem to have magic power, presenting the fierce battle before your eyes, making people's blood boil. However, in terms of shortcomings, some subplots are a bit delayed. It would be perfect if they could be streamlined. But overall, this is a good fantasy book worth reading twice, and I highly recommend it to all bookworms!
