After Faking My Death, the Male Lead Forced Me to Love Him

After all these years tangled up with him, he still doesn’t love me.

Captivity in reverse + coercion + confinement + faking death to escape + angsty, melodramatic heartbreak + chasing-the-wife romance + a story of freedom

Cold-faced, adorable cat uke x aloof, aristocratic, master-actor crown prince seme

Su Qiu is a lemon-scented Ragdoll cat. That’s a secret.

He works as a rock band bassist at a bar. After a performance, his pheromones suddenly go haywire, and he accidentally tumbles into someone’s arms while wearing a hat and mask.

Bai Lou has been dragged to the bar for a drink by a friend who just got dumped. A pretty young man suddenly grabs him. The kid smells of lemons, and one of his cat ears has accidentally popped out. He begs Bai Lou for help.

Later, Su Qiu discovers that Bai Lou has become his nominal, unrelated-by-blood “family member”?!

The cat has always had someone he likes, and that person is Bai Lou. After finally getting to see him, he is rejected.

But the cat has always been spoiled and arrogant, looking down on everyone except Bai Lou, so he locks Bai Lou up.

He tries to attract Bai Lou’s attention, hoping that will make him fall in love.

But the cat’s plan backfires: the company goes bankrupt, his father falls ill, and Bai Lou turns out to be the greatest beneficiary?

It turns out Bai Lou had been hiding his ambition at Su Qiu’s side all along. It turns out Bai Lou is the former heir to the Bai Group, who concealed his identity just for this moment.

So the cat fakes his death and escapes to a place no one knows about.

But Crown Prince Bai Lou turns dark, stops at nothing to catch him, and locks him up.

1v1, both leads are devoted only to each other, and both are at least eighteen. This story uses original worldbuilding and differs from traditional coercive romances.
