After clearing out the fridge, Pei Che took out a bottle of chilled beer. With a quick flourish of one hand, he smoothly popped off the cap, leaving her staring in amazement.
Pei Che noticed her gaze and raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“I want some too,” Shen Tang said, widening her round eyes and pouting.
Pei Che had paid for Shen Tang's purchases, so he knew what she'd bought. “Just one sip.”
“Mm-hmm.”
Shen Tang readily agreed. She hadn't had any in a long time and just wanted a taste.
Shen Tang took a sip from the bottle. Pei Che's gaze darkened as he took it from her and casually continued drinking.
